Step 1: Access the Conversations Section
Once logged into the Centiva CRM application, you will be directed to the dashboard. In the left menu, go to the conversations page by clicking on "Conversations."
Step 2: Navigate to the "Templates (Snippets)" Tab
On the conversation details page, look for the "Templates (Snippets)" tab. Click on it to open the page where all message templates (snippets) are displayed.
Step 3: Create a New SMS Template
- At the top right of the page, click the "+ Add Template (Snippet)" button to start creating a new SMS template.
- From the dropdown menu, choose the type of template you want to create. In this case, click on "Add Text Template (Snippet)."
Step 4: Fill in the SMS Template Details
A new window will appear where you can enter the SMS template information, including:
- Name
- Customize the Content:
- Add Content: Use the provided editor to enter the content of your SMS message. Make sure the message is clear, concise, and relevant to your recipients.
- Add Dynamic Variables: Include dynamic variables in your SMS message that will be replaced with specific data for each message sent. For example, {{ first_name, last_name }} .
Step 5: Preview and Test
- Preview Your Template: Before saving, use the preview option to see how your SMS will look when received. Ensure the message is correctly formatted and does not exceed the character limit allowed for SMS.
- Test the Template: Use the test function to send a test version of the SMS to a number you control, to ensure everything works as expected.
Step 6: Save the SMS Template

Once satisfied with your template, save it. Make sure to give it an easily recognizable name so you can select it easily when sending out your SMS campaigns.

Your SMS template is now ready to be used in your campaigns. When creating an SMS campaign, you can select this template to send messages to your contacts.
