🎖️How to Create an Email Template

Step 1: Access the Conversations Section

Once logged into the Centiva CRM application, you will be directed to the dashboard. In the left menu, go to the conversations page by clicking on "Conversations."

Step 2: Navigate to the "Templates (Snippets)" Tab

On the conversation details page, look for the "Templates (Snippets)" tab. Click on it to open the section where all message templates (snippets) are displayed.

Step 3: Create a New Email Template

  1. At the top right of the page, click the "+ Add Template (Snippet)" button to start creating a new email template. 
  2. From the dropdown menu, choose the type of template you want to create. In this case, click on "Add Email Template (Snippet)."

Step 4: Fill in the Email Template Details

A new window will appear where you can enter the email template information, including:

  1. Name
  2. Subject
  3. Customize the Content:
    1. Define the Basic Format: Start by defining the basic structure of your email, choosing the layout of the main sections like the header, body, and footer.
    2. Add Content: Use the provided editor to add text, images, and links. Click on the text areas to edit them according to your needs.
    3. Customize the Style: Adjust colors, fonts, and text sizes to match your visual identity or the goal of your campaign.
    4. Integrate Links and Buttons: Add call-to-action buttons or links to specific pages on your website or other resources.
    5. Add Dynamic Variables: Make your template more dynamic by integrating variables that will be replaced with specific data for each email sent. For example, {{ first_name, last_name }} .

Step 5: Preview and Test

  1. Preview Your Template: Before saving, use the preview option to see how the email will look when received by your recipients.
  2. Test the Template: Use the test function to send a test version of the email to an address you control, to ensure everything works as expected.

Step 6: Save the Email Template

  1. Once satisfied with your template, save it. Make sure to give it an easily recognizable name so you can select it easily when sending out your email campaigns.

  2. Your template is now ready to be used in your email campaigns. When creating a campaign, you can select this template to send emails to your contacts.
